According to AIXTRON, the equipment purchased by the Japanese manufacturer this time is an enhanced 5x4 inch CRIUS Close Coupled Showerhead (CCS) system that can create blue light LEDs and deep ultraviolet light LEDs. This new technology module has a higher process temperature than previous III-VMOCVD devices. It is designed to produce high efficiency blue light and UVLED products that can be supplied to market applications such as high color rendering LED lighting, UV UV curing, and photocatalyst purification.
