Through decades of continuous development and precipitation, the technical level of China's fastener manufacturing industry has significantly improved, and its practical application scope is mainly reflected in: in recent years, China's fastener enterprises have increased the development and utilization of raw materials, the heat treatment technology of raw materials has achieved success, and corresponding breakthroughs have been made in the key technologies of aluminum alloy, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium alloy, and heat resistant alloy fasteners used in the aerospace field; A batch of 10.9 grade high-strength fasteners have been successfully developed and widely used in the manufacturing industries of automobiles, diesel engines, compressors, etc; In order to meet the demand for localization of wind power generation equipment, progress has been made in the technology of material selection, thermal pier, heat treatment, and surface treatment for large size (M30-M65) grade 10.9 high-strength fasteners; Surface treatment technologies such as trivalent chromium zinc plating purification, trivalent chromium nickel alloy plating, chromium free Duroc, and black organic coatings have been innovatively applied; In addition, corresponding achievements have been made in high-temperature resistant materials, heat piers, and heat treatment.
However, compared to overseas advanced levels, the technological level gap in China's fastener manufacturing industry is still large, mainly reflected in production equipment and raw materials. Most fastener manufacturing enterprises in China are small in scale, backward in production technology, poor in equipment, slow in process innovation, and poor in surface treatment, resulting in excess production of low-level products in the fastener manufacturing industry in China, while the supply of high-end fastener products exceeds demand; In addition, the variety, specification, and quality of steel used for fasteners in China cannot fully meet the requirements of the fastener manufacturing industry, leading to the transfer of processes that should be solved in the metallurgical industry to fastener enterprises. Currently, only a few enterprises can solve this problem with their strong comprehensive strength. Aerospace fastener technology represents the highest level of fastener technology in China, but there are also corresponding gaps compared to overseas.
